Description

The Renogy Adaptor Kit is a set of two wires designed specifically for connecting a Renogy solar panel to a charge controller. The Adaptor Kit includes MC4 connectors on one end for effortless connection to the solar panel, and exposed wire on the other end to lead directly into the charge controller. This wiring kit is essential for off-grid solar installations, roof or ground level, and is offered in a wide range of sizes. The wiring is weatherproof and designed to withstand extreme heat and cold. This wiring kit is ideal for Renogy Off-Grid Kits ranging from 100W to 400W.

Renogy offers a wide range of lengths, as well as two different gauge sizes to choose from. The different sizes allow for customization based on a customer's unique needs. The Renogy 10ft 10AWG Adaptor Kit allows for 10 feet of length between the solar panel and charge controller.

    I installed this fuse between the solar panel and the controller to protect the system. It was very easy to install with the push and click connectors.

    I bought 4 solar panels, a charge controller w/bluetooth, and the assorted cabling I thought I needed - I am so darned impressed that not only was what I thought I needed actually what I did need, no more and no less (excellent product descriptions on the website!) but everything went together SO easily and worked the first time, no hitches. I live aboard my sailboat and having a project go so smoothly and without problems is truly a novelty for me. The solar panels are letting me stay out at anchor for as long as I like without running my engine. Big thumbs up, I am 100% satisfied with these products.

    Wires are very stiff

    Even though the wires are stiff you can still route them easily. Trick is to uncoil them 1st to make smooth radius curves.

    Kit arrived quickly and made the hook-up easy. Well worth purchasing. On my installation, the battery temp. sensor lead is too short. Can a 5 foot section be added without altering performance? Thanks.
