But it does work very well and the fact that is is a bit heavy means you could install it permanently on a roof. Frame is strong and the handle and clips are painted so I don’t see them rusting any time soon unless you leave it in the rain regularly. My deep cycle battery was 1/2 charged but in one day was fully recharged. Great product

I use this to charge my various portable power devices and to charge up the battery in my teardrop trailer and they work quite well. In ideal conditions, they'll provide about 90W or so to whatever I'm charging. The model I have has the bypass built in which is handy for charging up power stations that include their own controller. I just had to buy a few adapters and extension cables to allow them to work with everything I need to charge.I use them mostly in the southern interior of BC where we get a lot of summer sun which helps a lot when camping.My only complaint is that the latches are not aligned correctly but that hasn't caused any problems.

Very efficient. Does not need that much sun to provide 100W with mppt controller. Light and sturdy with good pouch. Latch were installed poorly though.

I picked this one because most of the items are out of stock probably due to COVID 19. The unit arrived and it was heavier than I thought. The rings on the two locks were out of shape so I have tighten them up so they will fall off the hinges. Other than that, it works perfectly.
