- 1. Do not reverse the polarity since the reverse polarity of the battery connections can cause injury and damage to the device.
- 2. When connecting the charger and the battery, make sure the battery poles are clean when connecting the terminals, select a sufficient cross-section for the connection cable, tighten the nuts and bolts with proper torque as loose connections may cause overheating.
- 3. Be careful not to over-torque the terminals on the DCDC as over-torquing may cause irreparable damage (Do not exceed 16 N-m / 3.3 ft-lb).
- 4. Use the following cable colors:
- Red: positive connection
- Black: negative connection
- 5. If the battery charger is connected to the starting battery and solar panels at the same time, the maximum input current will be 25A for each; if the battery charger only connects one of the two DC inputs, the maximum input current will be 50A.

So Good, We bought 2
Originally this unit was first installed on our VW Westfalia camper van to work with 300 watts of solar. The ability to charge 2 battery banks simultaneously & isolated is fantastic in camper systems, the solar panels take care of the starter battery & house while stationary, while driving the alternator services both banks. This functions so well we are installing it on a large sailboat with flexi solar panels.

Great product
I have had this set up for about a week and it’s working well. It’s well designed and easy to install. I have not used the alternator input yet but this is the main reason I bought this unit.

I Like It
I use this charger with a truck/camper and I really like it. The house batteries charge while traveling. I have 400 watts of solar which takes care of the hotel loads on nice days with this unit, plus adds a trickle charge. I see about 30 amps of charging from the alternators when the truck is parked and idling if we're in one spot for multi days in bad weather. This is a great product IMO.

DC charger with mppt
Simple to hook up. Works great. Seems to work fine with non renogy solar panels, it charges my renogy 100 ah battery as intended. Like the little boost and starter battery charging. With dchome app you get a look at energy consumption and charging.
