Shipping Policies

1.All orders must have a valid street address. RENOGY does not accept PO Box addresses, some items cannot be delivered to PO Boxes due to shipping restrictions.

3.Depending on your order, your items may arrive in multiple packages. Once your order is shipped, you can click here to track your package. We understand that professional installation is often desired. However, we strongly suggest that you wait until receiving your complete order and verifying the condition of the products before scheduling any work to commence with your new Renogy products.

4.Packages cannot be rerouted after they have been shipped. If you need to change the address, please e-mail us at service.renogy.com.

5.If the outer packaging is damaged upon delivery, please refuse the package and contact us immediately. If refusing the delivery is not possible, please provide relevant pictures to facilitate our after-sales service.

RETURN and REFUND

Order Cancellation

Customers can cancel transactions any time before Renogy begins the shipping process. The shipping process typically begins within 30 minutes of placement of the order. If unable to cancel an order before shipping, customers can make returns in accordance with Renogy’s Return Policy.

Returns

Items purchased from Renogy can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Please note that Renogy will not accept returns beyond 30 days of delivery (this excludes returns for defects or quality issues which can be accepted after inspection and approval by Renogy).

Renogy 30-Day Return Policy

For returns of products purchased online at Renogy.com, customers need to contact Renogy customer service within 30 days of receiving the item to initiate the return process. To be eligible for return, items must be in the original packaging( *it should be the original container or covering which is used to package the product, including all accessories, attachments as well as manual, etc.), unused, undamaged, unmodified, and have a return authorization number( *customer needs to first contact Renogy customer support team for getting the RMA number before returning the order.) provided by Renogy. Proof of purchase must be provided by the customer to begin the return process.

Note: Please note that due to the transportation specificity of lithium batteries, the return period for lithium batteries is within 7 days.

Upon receiving your package, we kindly advise keeping the original packaging handy for any potential future needs.

For Renogy products purchased from other authorized retailers or sellers please contact the seller where the item was originally purchased.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for product returns will be paid by Renogy under the following conditions:

  • Product was damaged during shipping or warehouse handling
  • Product defects
  • Incorrect product was delivered
  • Product(s) delivered were not ordered by the customer.

The customer is responsible for any return shipping costs when product is returned under any other conditions. Costs vary by shipping location.

Renogy does NOT accept returns of items that have been modified in any way. Any modifications will render the Renogy warranty null and void. Any modified products returned to Renogy will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense.

For approved returns, Renogy will provide a prepaid return shipping label( *it is provided by the logistics company with which Renogy has cooperation.) . Any shipping costs that the customer is responsible for will be deducted from any refund issued to the customer by Renogy.

Refunds

  • For returns related to customer preferences (not related to defects, shipping damage or wrong product delivered) made within the 30 day return period, a 10% to 15% restocking fee will be charged(Includes shipping and transaction fees).
  • After receiving the returned item, Renogy will issue a refund within 7 to 10 business days. Renogy will notify the customer by email once the refund has been processed. If the refund isn’t received after 10 business days, please contact the Renogy Customer Support Team. All returned items will be inspected to insure they meet Renogy’s return policy.

Product Return Process

1. To request authorization for return, contact Renogy customer service. Once customers have contacted Renogy, they will be asked to provide the reason for the return, and a receipt or proof of purchase.

2. The Renogy Customer Support Team will determine whether the purchase is eligible for return. After confirming the order is eligible, Renogy will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and a prepaid return shipping label. The customer must clearly mark the RMA number on the package and include the dated proof of purchase with the product. Products shall be sent out within 5 working days after receiving RMA number.

3. For products being returned due to quality issues, which are beyond 30 days ’ return period but within warranty period, Renogy will provide instructions on how to properly package the product to return it safely. Do not ship the product before receiving the proper shipping safety instructions.

Note: Do not return any items without the RMA confirmation from the Renogy Customer Support Team. For returns without RMA confirmation, the refund or replacement will not be processed, and the items will be returned to the sender.

The return and replace policies for the Renogy Day are subject to the specific requirements of the actual event day.

This policy applies only to Renogy products purchased in Canada through authorized sellers and channels.

Order Cancellation

Renogy 30-Day Return Policy

For returns of products purchased online at ca.renogy.com, customers need to contact Renogy customer service within 30 days of receiving the item to initiate the return process. To be eligible for return, items must be in the original packaging unused, undamaged, unmodified, and have a return authorization number provided by Renogy. Proof of purchase must be provided by the customer to begin the return process.

1) Original packing: it should be the original container or covering which is used to package the product, including all accessories, attachments as well as manual, etc.

2) Return authorization number: customer needs to first contact Renogy customer support team for getting the RMA number before returning the order.

Note:

Please note that due to certain transportation regulations, AGM and GEL batteries are not eligible for a 30-day unconditional return or exchange. However, for lithium batteries and partially specified inverters, we provide a 7-day window for returns or exchanges, allowing for greater flexibility, this is usually indicated on the relevant product page.

Upon receiving your package, we kindly advise keeping the original packaging handy for any potential future needs.

 

Shipping Costs of Return

1. Shipping costs for product returns will be paid by Renogy under the following conditions:

  • Product was damaged during shipping or warehouse handling

Packages delivered to a designated pick-up location must be collected within 5 business days. Unclaimed packages will be automatically returned to the sender. If reshipment is required, the customer will be responsible for both the original shipping fee and the return shipping cost resulting from the unclaimed package.

Renogy does NOT accept returns of items that have been modified in any way. Any modifications will render the Renogy warranty null and void. Any modified products returned to Renogy will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense. For approved returns, Renogy will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

For returns due to customers' subjective reasons (such as change of mind or schedule changes, etc.), within the allowed return window, the shipping cost for returns should NOT be borne by Renogy. Unauthorized returns may result in processing delays, additional fees, or other complications. To ensure a smooth return process and protect your interests, please request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning any item.

2. All refurbished/open-box products do not support returns, refunds, or exchanges for non-quality issues. The warranty period for any refurbished/open box product is 6 months, during which any quality issues can be contacted for after-sales service.

 

Refunds

If the refund isn’t received after 7-10 business days, please contact the Renogy Customer Support Team. All returned items will be inspected to ensure they meet Renogy’s return policy.

If your payment card uses a currency other than CAD, the refunded amount may differ from your original order amount due to exchange rate fluctuations. This difference is determined solely by your card issuer and is beyond Renogy's control.

1.How long does it take to fully charge Renogy 1000?
 
It depends on how you recharge the Renogy 1000 gets recharged. There are 3 ways to recharge Renogy 1000: solar, wall outlets, and automotive. Renogy 1000 portable power station can be fully charged in 1.8 hours via a wall outlet, 3 hours with 400W solar panels, and 9 hours through a car port.
2. How many solar panels do I need to top up Renogy 1000?
 
The maximum solar input of Renogy 1000 is 400W. We recommend two E.FLEX 220 Portable Solar Panels (sold separately) to recharge Renogy 1000 solar powered generator faster.
3. Can I use Renogy 1000 as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS)?
 
Technically speaking, we regard Renogy 1000 as a standby power supply (SPS) rather than an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) due to its transfer time. For standby power supply, you can connect Renogy 1000 to a wall outlet via the AC input with the included AC power cable. Just briefly press the AC On/Off Button to power on the AC Outlets and plug in devices. The SPS mode will automatically activate. In the event of a power outage, Renogy 1000 solar generator will deliver emergency AC power to the devices with a transfer time of less than 20ms. Please note that Renogy 1000 cannot switch from grid supply to the emergency AC power in less than 10ms like a professional UPS does. We don't advise using the Renogy 1000 as UPS for critical devices like data servers or workstations. Make sure that the output load is rated below 1500W.
4. What accessories are included with the Renogy 1000 solar power generator?
 
Renogy 1000 comes with an AC power cable (5.91 ft / 1.8 m), a car charge cable (4.92 ft / 1.5 m), a solar charge cable (9.84 ft / 3 m), and a user guide.
5. Will Renogy 1000 automatically shut off output ports when it is not in operation?
 
Renogy 1000 solar portable power station features timeout settings, automatically turning off output ports when devices draw low or no power from these ports to save energy. The default timeout setting is 1 hour. Alternatively, you can adjust or disable the timeout setting on DC Home app based on your needs.
6. What happens when the AC load exceeds 1500W?
 
Thanks to iBoost technology, Renogy 1000 can automatically identify which type of load that's plugged in. For resistive load, Renogy 1000 actively lowers the power consumption drawn by the load to keep it operating without triggering AC overload protection. For capacitive or inductive loads over 1500W, Renogy 1000 will be shut off by the AC overload protection. To disable the alarm, disconnect the device from the AC outlet and briefly press the AC On/Off button.
7. Are batteries inside Renogy 1000 replaceable? Can they be expanded in a certain way?
 
No, the lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 batteries) in Renogy 1000 cannot be replaced. If you wish to use high-powered appliances with Renogy 1000, you can connect two Renogy 1000’s through a single phase or split phase parallel kit (sold separately). With the parallel kit you can get 1997Wh of backup battery storage and a maximum of 2700W AC output. iStack technology allows two Renogy 1000 to intelligently distribute output based on available remaining power to balance capacity.
8. What type of battery cell is used in the Renogy 1000 solar portable power station?
 
The Renogy 1000 uses LiFePO4 batteries that have a long lifespan of over 2000 charge cycles.
9.Can this solar power generator be controlled using an app?
 
No, the lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 batteries) in Renogy 1000 cannot be replaced. 1000 watt portable power

Saved us at the cabin hydro was out .so we plugged the fridge into this little beast for the night and it ran our fridge and saved our food from spoiling. Loved it that night for sure . Thanks for making suck a great product at an amazing price .

Great unit

This unit is living up to expectations.. I wanted an "all-in-one", modest power solution for a new camper trailer build, after having built my own LifePo4 solar system in a van build a few years ago. I've come to conclusion that for many (most?) people, this type of unit is far better suited than trying to tackle their own DIY system.

In any case, the Phoenix 1000 is indeed a bit heavy, but it is the bigger of the units, and well featured. The display screen is wonderful, the LED light on the front is fancy and actually puts out a decent amount of light. I've tested coffee makers, small portable AC, laptops, fans and even a residential fridge just for the fun of it and it handled it all quite well. The Bluetooth app is great to keep an eye on things, especially when you just want to check in on charging/discharge status.

I may try to make a video or followup review after some usage this summer with solar input to give an idea of reasonable expectations for real-world use. No question this will keep a portable DC fridge running for a while, alongside some lights, electronics etc.. Excited to really lean into it especially with the iBoost features etc..
