Description

Meet the Renogy 175W Flexible Solar Panel - the culmination of cutting-edge technology and precision. This ultra-lightweight panel can achieve up to an incredible 248-degree arc of flexibility thanks to advanced solar cell technology and lamination techniques. At 6.2 pounds, this panel weighs 70% less than its standard counterpart and is less than 5% as thick. This makes it easy to transport, install, and affixed to uneven surfaces. It's precisely this kind of adaptability that makes the Renogy 175W Flexible Solar Panel the ideal choice for airstreams, campers, and boats.

Mounting Recommendation: Modules may be mounted using silicon structural adhesive on the backside of the panel. For detailed installation methods, please consult a local contractor for guidance.

    175 watt flexible solar panel

Posted by Denis Guitar on Feb 26th 2023

I bought a solar panel from Renogy two years ago and used it for my motor boat. Very efficient even in late August late in the afternoon (05:00pm). I decided to buy a second one this year so I can anchor a few days without starting the Genest. Renogy Canada is a first class operation and wouldn’t hesitate one second to buy again from them. Few friends I told them about Renogy and they immediately bought from them. Same as I they were impressed with their products and services. Recommend highly! Buy with confidence!

    Review of 175 watt flexible.

Posted by Ken CRAMB on Dec 14th 2022

Nice quality. Positive and Negative MC/g connectors are 25 inches long. Easy hook up to pre-wired female plugs on roof. Glued down on a nice 50F day with a clear Pro Adhesive from a R/V store. Followed the directions for the glue on the backside of the panel. Clean off rood well with Paint Thinner after I had etched around the permiter with a felt pen. Glue and panel were in house and at 73F- Came out quick placed on roof - glue side down. Added a lawyer of cardboard then numerous weights on top of cardboard. 2 hrs later removed cardboard and plugged in + & - leads.. Went inside rig with voltmeter to check out proper polarity then hook into my wall mount control unit. Job done. E-Pro was pre-wired which made the controller and panel a easy install. Also have a GoPro suitcase 125 watt so in total 300 watts. This is my 3rd DIY solar install 1 sailboat and 2 travel trailers

    Flexible solar panel

Posted by Ananda Masri on Jun 7th 2022

I got this for our travel trailer and plan to mount it on the roof, which is curved (hence the choice of flexible panel). On our first trip it fully charged our pair of 500Wh solar generators several times over the days and achieved healthy charge rates given the time of year (May). It feels sturdy and I'm anticipating a good service life.

Renogy 175 Watt flexible solar panel.

Received the panel in good shape. This will be used on my boat this summer. But I tested the output of the panel and it gave me 22.4 volts in partial sun. The product appears to be very well constructed and performed quite well under the circumstances. I am happy with it and will probably buy a second one before the summer. Also the Renogy help personnel were quite gracious with their time in answering all my questions.
